Michael Kliger was appointed as Mytheresa’s Chief Executive Officer in 2015, where he has been the driving force behind the company's continued global growth. He is a member of Mytheresa’s Management Board since 2020.
Under his leadership, Mytheresa has transformed into one of the world's leading e-commerce platforms for luxury goods and completed its listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in January 2021. As a visionary leader, Michael has played a pivotal role assembling and empowering a highly effective leadership team that drives Mytheresa's story of success.
Prior to joining Mytheresa, Michael served as the Vice President International at eBay Enterprise, overseeing all commercial and marketing operations in Europe and APAC. His impressive career also includes Managing Director and Executive positions in renowned companies, such as Accenture, First Capital Partners and Real Holding. Michael is a former Principal of McKinsey & Company where he headed their German Retail Practice.
In addition, Michael serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Valora AG since 2018.
